Faculty of Behavioral and Social Sciences offers discipline specific as well as interdisciplinary programs. The opportunities after obtaining the degrees from different disciplines are as follows:

• Psychology
  Department of Applied Psychology provides the foundation for a career in Psychology and affiliated fields, offering modules in the core areas of modern psychology including cognitive, biological, developmental, abnormal psychology etc. Students of the department are comprehensively trained in research skills and have hands-on experience of applying psychology to the real world. The department has dedicated state-of-the-art human lab, psychology laboratory and counseling unit.
• Economics
  The primary objective of the Economics program is to offer educational opportunities to students by preparing them as accomplished citizens and professionals, capable of critical thinking and independent analysis with discipline centred theoretical and applied knowledge. The Department is committed towards promoting high quality teaching and research with its undergraduate and postgraduate studies and doctoral research programs.
  
• Liberal Arts
  Department of Liberal Arts offers a range of subjects that includes knowledge acquiring disciplines comprising social and natural sciences. The department offers three years Bachelor’s degree program in Liberal Arts in which students are required to earn 100 credit points in order to successfully complete the program. It is an opportunity for the student to pursue his/her professional interests and passion simultaneously. For Students aspiring for a career in civil services, liberal arts is the best option.
• Social Work
  Department of Social Work aims to develop critical insight among the students to apprise social issues. We intend to develop student’s personality through inculcation of democratic and humanitarian values. The pedagogy is structured in a way that strikes the balance between theoretical underpinning with concurrent field work in a social welfare organization.
