Interactive sessions through seminars, workshops and class room lectures and hands-on-training prepares our students to face the challenge of transit from academics to industry and readies them for the job markets. Our syllabus is multidisciplinary and emphasizes to encompass all aspects of media and communication. Regular media industry exposure and through field visits coupled with reporting, recording at an in-house studio  and Radio Manav Rachna 107.8 at the University campus and opportunity to contribute to in-house magazines provides the requisite experience of field work to every student.

The FMeH faculty members have been associated with national and multinational organizations such as Aajtak, Zee News, India TV, Sahara Group, Discovery Channel, Doordarshan, All India Radio, Headlines Today, Fairfax Business Media (Australia), TOI Group and prominent universities. FMeH has state of the art equipment (Studio, Production Control Room, Edit bay, Camera, Teleprompter, etc.), a well-equipped broadcast studio and Computer Lab with all the required software for print production. It enjoys natural access to Manav Rachna Community Radio for training the students in radio techniques. The students produce TV & Radio programmes along with lab newspapers and magazines on their own.
