Satellite Centres

The Department is running three satellite centres in Faridabad. One is located at Sidhata Ashram, and second is in Anangpur village. The urban centre is located at Sector 15, Faridabad.

Mobile Dental Van

Dental care is expensive and is most neglected and at the same time, one of the most important part of healthcare. If treated in time, tooth decay, gum disease and tooth loss can be prevented.

To meet the challenge of increasing prevalence of dental disease, Manav Rachna Dental College has embarked upon dynamic Mobile Dental Care program.

Our Mobile dental van is India’s first Solar powered Mobile dental van

The Mobile Dental Clinic is a full body air-conditioned bus, fitted with two dental chairs Installed with an autoclave to maintain sterilization also fitted with refrigerator to keep vaccines.   It is operated by a qualified Dental Surgeon, assisted by a qualified Dental hygienist.

In Mobile dental van we examine the patients for various dental ailments, do temporary filling, dental extraction, oral prophylaxis there is also facility for taking dental x- rays. In case of pain treatment is initiated and further course of treatment is recommended in college.  During one visit in rural area around 100 to 120 patients are examined and 40 to 50 are treated.

Through the Mobile Dental Clinic our effort is to bring the Dental care to every doorstep.

Portable Dental Set-up

The department boasts of a portable dental set up which includes a dental chair, compressor and portable light for efficient working in the field. Together with the Mobile Dental Van, a field set up of three dental chairs is possible for a good output in our Treatment Camps.
