Experience: 15 years of teaching and research experience which includes 10 Years teaching at Majmaah University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Areas of Interest: 

• Mechanisms underlying brain circuit plasticity — characterizing the genes and proteins involved, as well as visualizing synaptic and neuronal remodeling
• To study the genetic and epigenetic basis of human diseases such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s
• How cancer spreads, what gives cancer stem-cells their unique qualities, and the molecular players involved in the formation of cancer stem cells and metastases
• How the body’s immune system interacts with growing tumors to harness the immune response to fight cancer
• The impact of dietary interventions on stem cells, the immune system, and cancer within the intestine

Message

It gives me great pleasure to serve as Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at the Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies. I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome students from all over the world who are applying for undergraduate (BPT, B.Sc-Nutrition & Dietetics, B.Sc Food Science Technology) and postgraduate (MPT – Sports, Neurology, Cardiology, Musculoskeletal, M.Sc Nutrition & Dietetics, and PhD) programs. The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences has highly trained faculty members who provide students with adequate instruction, instructions, moral encouragement, and education in order for them to progress in life as Professionals in the program of research they have chosen. I must add that our faculty members are doing admirably in the latest COVID-19 outbreak.

Our programs are distinguished by high-quality instruction and unique characteristics such as community-oriented teaching, problem-based learning, and the use of contemporary pedagogical methods. Our programs’ most valuable properties are their architecture, learning atmosphere, and world-class faculty and personnel. Our alumni, who serve in prestigious universities both nationally and abroad, are living proof of our achievement. On the academic front, the institute hosts many international, national, and regional conferences, as well as workshops; numerous high-quality analysis and review papers have been published in indexed journals, and chapters have been published in books. A special student council oversees annual cultural and sporting events. Our institute’s Staff and Research Society organizes the Annual Scientific Meet, a multispecialty continuing medical education.

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences has well-established, well-furnished, and well-equipped Computer Labs, Class Rooms, Seminar Halls, and a Library. It also has a new Placement Cell that can have 100% placement. Many of our staff members work very hard to position all of our students in reputable businesses and organizations. Our alumni serve in a variety of well-known organizations, and they also encourage, intimate, and assist our students in obtaining high-level positions.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new students who are considering enrolling at this university for the upcoming academic year.
