DEPARTMENT OF CSE, FET, MRIU ORGANIZED A WORKSHOP ON PYTHON PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE

Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Manav Rachna International University, organized a workshop for students on ‘Python Programming Language’, technically supported by Python Software Society of India(PSSI) at its MRIU campus in Faridabad.

 The workshop commenced in the presence of Dr. M. K. Soni, Executive Director and Dean, FET; Dr. S. S. Tyagi, Professor and Head, Department of CSE, FET; Guest speaker Mr. Anuvrat Parashar, PyDelhi, PSSI; Prof. Anil Chopra, Deptt. of CSE, FET. Dr. S. S. Tyagi, in his speech, encouraged the students to participate in such workshops.

The purpose of this workshop was to get the students familiar with Python programming (which is an easy to learn, powerful programming language), including how to get started, what advantages and disadvantages Python provides as a programming language, the essentials of programming in Python, and what tools are available to build applications in Python.

Mr. Anuvrat Parashar explained the basic concepts and most noteworthy features of the Python language and system. He discussed the loops and conditions, modules, applications and characteristics of Python, followed by hands on session. This workshop was appreciated by the students as they were able to add another programming language in their technical skill set.
