Dedicated Funding Schemes for Interdisciplinary Research
Allocating research income specifically to interdisciplinary research amongst science disciplines involves earmarking funds or resources to support collaborative research initiatives that span multiple scientific fields. The university has dedicated funding schemes or grants programmes designed to support traditional and interdisciplinary research projects. These are administered by research funding agencies, government organizations, philanthropic foundations and by university itself and have specific eligibility criteria and application requirements.
The university Policy for Promotion of Research, Innovation and Incubation (Policy No. MRIIRS-IQAC-PL-RP/2019-20 VERSION: 2) duly notified vide: No: MRIIRS/REGR/2020/58/1_dated: 30th April 2020 is followed to provide financial support to researchers at the campus and also to guide utilization of external funds received by different researchers at the campus.
