ABOUT MRIIRS SDG

The Government of India endorsed and signed the UN’s “Transforming our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development,” which includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 associated Targets, in September 2015.The Agenda for Sustainable Development is already seeking strong interest from governments, international organisations, enterprises, civic society, and other institutions in UN member states.

MRIIRS is also making significant progress toward the 17 Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations General Assembly for the sake of the planet and its inhabitants. The strategy aims at many paths addressing the environment, gender, food and water security, high-quality education, and numerous other essential needs. MRIIRS aspires to be a resource and a force that provides knowledge, vigour, inspiration, and motivation to the stakeholders of the organisation or institution, empowering them to support and live sustainable lifestyles and, as a result, to engage in and contribute to democratic governance more effectively in India.

Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in October 2015 for 5 years from 16th November 2015 and now is in a process of 2nd Cycle of NAAC, the SSR for the same was submitted during the month of Aug 2022.

The National Board of Accreditation has granted Tier I accreditation to the four engineering programmes (B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Biotechnology), as well as one management programme (MBA). It has also received the prestigious QS Stars rating, receiving five stars in each of the following six categories: teaching, employability, academic development, facilities, social responsibility, and inclusiveness. The Computer Science and Engineering Program received four stars for programme strength, and the MRIIRS was given an overall four-star rating in the year 2020.

To contribute towards sustainable goals, MRIIRS strongly emphasize on improving teaching-learning and pedagogical processes through updated the curriculum in consultation with stakeholders ,Organising National and internationals Events/Seminars/Workshops/Conferences in the different fields of such as the environment, gender, the need for secure access to food and water, high-quality education, and several other basic necessities.
