Shatarupa is associated with Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies since 2017. Her teaching area covers Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Counselling and General Psychology. She completed her postgraduate and undergraduate studies from the University of Delhi, and worked as a Junior Research Fellow in Sports Psychology with the Sports Authority of India (Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports). She has experience of working on a variety of cross cultural research projects with the University of Oxford, UK. She also participated in numerous seminars/workshops and presented her research papers. Her latest study on Non-Social Cognition through WAIS-IV has been presented at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She is well trained in both quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct research and handled the sensitive and useful data. She has experience in diagnosis and treatment of various mental disorders. In addition, she is familiar in understanding and meeting the psychological needs of accomplished sportspersons, children, adolescents and professionals.
