Resettlement training program on ‘Retail Management and Supply Chain’ for retired defense personnel culminates at MREI campus

The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), in collaboration with Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) organized a 4-month training program for the Army and Air Force personnel who would be proceeding for retirement. The two batches namely Retail Management and Supply Chain were given training in their respect subjects. Besides this, a basic course in spoken and written English and basic knowledge of computers was provided to the participants.

In today’s world, a basic knowledge of English and Computers is absolutely essential and MREI believes in giving that value-added edge to any training it imparts.  Each participant was supported in preparing his bio-data which would be required to apply for a suitable job in the future, informed Brig. S N Setia, Executive Director-Manav Rachna Academic Staff College.

Dr N.C.Wadhwa, Vice Chancellor MRIU wished the participants good luck for the future and was hopeful that they would continue to be honest and hard working as their Army training teaches them to be. Mr. Man Singh from the Defense force and Mr. Umakanth  from Air Force  on behalf of their colleagues, thanked Manav Rachna for the value filled training that they had received and also thanked the teachers for their continued and patient efforts.

Dr N.C. Wadhwa gave away the certificates to the toppers namely Mr. Rajendar Samal from the Air Force and Mr. Umesh Chand Jadli from the Army.
