Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, MREI invited to deliberate upon the changing education landscape of Haryana at the “Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2016”

12823241_1171243562888517_6536413961200797270_oGlobal investors from 12 countries like China, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Britain and Spain are attending the first “Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2016” in Gurgaon which was inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Finance Minister Sh. Arun Jaitley today. The two-day summit is the flagship investor summit organized by the state government aiming to attract global investment to the tune of Rs 4.35 lakh crore in Haryana. The event is being organized by the State Government in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry. The keynote address at the Summit was delivered by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar. Union Railway Minister Sh. Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister for Urban Development Sh Venkaiah Naidu and Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan shall address the elite gathering of industrialists present on the occasion.

The Summit was attended by the captains of India Inc including Gautam Adani, Rajiv Singh (DLF), Adi Godrej, Sunil Bharti Mittal, Pawan K Munjal, Venugopal Dhoot, YC Deveshwar, among a number of business houses. Dr. Prashant Bhalla, President, Manav Rachna Educational Institutions was invited at the ‘Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2016’ to discuss the changing paradigms of education in the State of Haryana. It is noteworthy that Manav Rachna Educational Institutions have had a prominent role in transforming the education landscape of Haryana.

In his address, Dr. Prashant Bhalla said that education has played a pivotal role in the development of Haryana and its people. He said developing entrepreneurial skills should be a focus area. We need more job creators than job seekers!
He stressed on the need for continuous improvement and innovation. In his words: “A good start…followed by consistent effort and continuous improvement leads to even better finale.”
