“Seminar on Azure Open-Source” by Reskill India, Microsoft education Partner

Faculty of Computer Application Organized a Seminar on Microsoft Azure on 22nd of March, 2023 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm in the Lab1, Third Floor Block C. Resource Persons for the was Mr. Siddarth Chopra and Mr Sarthak Jain, Reskill India, Microsoft education Partner. Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform that offers a wide range of services and tools for building, deploying, and managing applications and services. While Azure is primarily known for its support of Microsoft technologies, it also provides extensive support for open-source technologies and frameworks.

Azure Open Source refers to Microsoft’s commitment to supporting and integrating open-source technologies within the Azure ecosystem. Microsoft recognizes the importance of open-source software and actively collaborates with the open-source community to provide a seamless experience for developers and users. This interactive hands-on session covered the topics such as:

• Creating Virtual Machines (Linux and Windows) Leveraging the Cloud for websites
• REST-based services Data Storage
• Open-Source Technologies on Azure

A total of 76 Participants  attended the workshop.
