Train the Trainer Programme (TTP) organized in association with Electric One Mobility Pvt Limited from 04th -06th July 2022

Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, (MRIIRS) and Electric One Mobility Private Limited (EOMPL) jointly organised the three-day Train the Trainer programme (TTP) on Electric Vehicle Technology for Skill Next Programme Level-1 – from 4th to 6th July 2022. The programme started with the welcome note of Dr. Devendra Vashist where he welcomed all the members and provided a detailed layout of all the three days to the participants. He further introduced all the faculty, staff and other participants to the industry experts. The persons from Industries i.e Electric One mobility limited and Jeetsons Pvt Ltd. (JSPL) who were present were Ms. Sushma Tripathi, Mr. Ajay Rawat, Mr. Dharmendra Singh (EOMPL), Mr Satyendra Pal (MD JSPL) and Mr Harish Sharma (JSPL) Four Faculty members Dr. Nitin Waghmare, Dr. Amarinder Kaur, Mr. Prateek Mittal and Dr. Gurpreet Singh Matharou along with 3 staff members i.e Mr. Keshav, Mr. Bintoo Kumar, Mr. Vijay were imparted training in the emerging area of Electric Vehicles.

Day 1-4th July 2022: Theory session by Team Electric One at MRIIRS

The first session was conducted by Mr Dharmender Singh while the second session was taken by Mr Ajay Rawat. The team had given exposure related to E-Vehicles on the following topics.

  • Electric Vehicle – History, impact on Environment – well to wheel concept. Future of EV
  • Basic principle and components of an Electric vehicle, HEV, PHEV a
  • EV difference with an Internal Combustion Engine
  • Terminology and Description about Integral part of BEV.
  • Battery Technology and innovation in Automotive batteries for dynamic application.
  • Propulsion System – Traction Motor / Hub Motor

Day 2-05th July 2022: Visit to Lectrix

Established in the year Of 1988, Lectrix Ev Pvt Ltd) are the leading, Manufacturer of an extensive array of, Electric Three-Wheeler Rickshaw, Electric Rickshaw, etc. Company directs all its activities to cater the expectations of customers by providing them excellent quality products as per their gratifications. Leveraging deep expertise in Energy storage business, SAR Group’s vision is to emerge as a leader in the Electric Mobility business. Lectrix is the flagship initiative of SAR Group in electrical vehicles segment. It received ICAT approval for Andaaz E-Rickshaw vehicles in May 2019. A state-of-the-art manufacturing plant is set up in Manesar, for vehicle and component manufacturing.

Team from Manav Rachna reached at Plant location by 10:30 am and was warmly greeted by Mr. Naveen Kumar (AVP- Manufacturing and Quality, Lectrix EV Pvt. Ltd). Mr. Naveen give introduction about the company and its vision to make EV success story in India. After that complete Assembly line of E-Rickshaw running under the name of ANDAZZ was explained by his teammates. Due to copyright restrictions and other legal implementations, the testing of batteries, controller, design etc was not shared in details. Team visited the R & D facility of the plant and we held thereafter discussion followed by Question-Answer session in the conference room. Industrial Visit proved to an experiential learning for Manav Rachna Team. Few Pics of visit are as shown below.

Day 3: Visit to I Power 06th July 2022

Ipower is one of India’s most promising names in the green energy segment. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Kundli, Haryana is IMS certified.  It has a production capacity of over 500 battery packs each day. The company manufacture Lithium-Ion Batteries using best in class NMC and LFP cells.

Team from Manav Rachna reached at I Power Plant location by 11:00 am and was warmly greeted by Mr. Apte (Quality-Head). After a presentation about the company, the plant visit was organized. The assembly of battery pack from Li-Ion cells (imported from China, Vietnam and Thailand) was shown. The battery packs were designed as per the requirement of customers. Due to copyright restrictions and other legal implementations, the testing of batteries and battery controller etc was not shared in details. Industrial Visit proved to an experiential learning for Manav Rachna Team. Few Pics of visit are as shown below.
