Careers in Hospitality

Radisson Blu Faridabad Hotel Human Resource Manager, Ms. Sheetal Chadha, visited Faculty of Hotel Management, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies on 13^th March 2023 to deliver a guest lecture to the students of hospitality and Hotel Administration on the topic “Careers in Hospitality”

The lecture started with a brief introduction of Radisson Hotel Group and moved on to an interactive powerpoint presentation. Ms. Sheetal Chadha advised the students to make a logical decision about which hotel brand to join and what parameters should one see before selecting a hotel company.

She encouraged the students to inculcate and develop good habits like reading books. She emphasized on the need to remain focused and stay connected with one’s goals and work persistently toward achieving them. Complex concepts like passion, ambition, hard work, and love for what one does were made simpler to understand through interesting videos and examples from daily life. The lecture ended with a brief question answer session. The students had a very good interaction with the speaker. A total of 40 students attended the session.
