Response of HEI:

MRIIRS as a deemed to be University under section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956, is empowered to make its own curriculum. Based on its well laid down policy notified on 26.12.2017, the HEI revises the curriculum periodically based on the stakeholders’ feedback which is collected, analysed and the Analysis Report is acted upon by revising the curriculum, adding new courses and the addition of VACs. The Committee for ‘Feedback on Curricula’ constituted at University level takes up the onus of submitting the ATR through its Member Secretary to the BoM during the meetings.

NOTE: Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Faridabad is a Private, Deemed to be University, which does not come under the category of “Central Educational Institution” receiving grant in aid, as specified in the Gazzette of India, on Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2006 and its amendment in 2012.

In view of the 7-Judge Bench Judgement dated 12.08.2005, in P.A. Inamdar Vs. State of Maharashtra, reservation in admission of students in the Private Self-financing Deemed Universities is not applicable. However, the MRIIRS always encourages and facilitates the admission seekers from the reserved categories and keep their rights reserved for admission in all disciplines, with all facilities, relaxation and benefits under the Reservation Policy.

Response of HEI:

The BoM of the HEI is the highest authority that is empowered to sanction the posts based on the requirement submitted by the VC prepared by the Dean-Academics. Accordingly, the sanctioned teaching posts are notified every year after approval of the Board of Management.

Further, it is submitted to the kind consideration of the DVV that the Board of Management sanctions the posts in favour of the Departments and not in favour of any individual teacher. Once the posts are sanctioned, necessary appointments could be made for the sanctioned posts based on the set procedure, if necessary. MRIIRS is highly committed to provide quality in all the domains of academics and non-academics. Teaching-learning and Evaluation form the crux of the quality and excellence and the HEI has completely reined in the systemic empowerment in the evaluation system. With the intervention of the computerization, the time taken to announce the results and the space for grievances has been reduced drastically. The Examination reforms and IT integration through EMS system have brought in efficiency and efficacy into the Evaluation system.

MRIIRS believes in investing in people and continuous conducts Faculty Recharge Programs and encourages its teachers to attend various FDPs, Recharge Programs, Orientation Programs, attend seminars, conferences, workshops and a host of online and offline training programs.
